Beautiful drive that takes you through different biomes. Views are accessible as you drive. You start with regular mountains and some light desert vegetation. Then, as you approach the visitor center and around it, there's forested area, and as you go up- you see some pines and after that you see some hoodoos. You can drive all the way up to Echo Canyon and Massai Point (and park at either to see the birds-eye view of the hoodoos). It's an in and out drive.
