The CURRENT LADY is a 2019 custom BayWeld 38' x 14' charter equipped with triple Yamaha 425 hp outboards, Yamaha HelmMaster controls and a Seakeeper gyro stabilization system to reduce motion and fatigue on rough days.
Targets: halibut, salmon and rockfish (plus the occasional lingcod)
Trips are focused on Cook Inlet depths where captains set anglers up for halibut, salmon and rockfish, with lingcod and other species possible depending on the day.

The vessel is USCG-inspected and outfitted with a heated enclosed cabin, comfortable seating, a private restroom with hot water and top-quality rods and reels tuned for Gulf of Alaska depths.

Trips run 8–12 hours; plan for a full day on the water and bring provisions accordingly.
You must carry a valid State of Alaska fishing license (and Salmon Stamp if required). Bring waterproof rubber-soled shoes, warm layered clothing, rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, plus lunch, snacks and drinks for the day.
The vessel has a heated enclosed cabin, private restroom with hot water, coffee maker and USCG-approved lifejackets, a 20-man life raft and standard emergency gear.
A $25 per person per day fuel surcharge may be applied. Additional anglers over published limits may be accepted with pre-approval and an added fee.

Yes—a minimum of four passengers is required for the trip to go out.
Can non-fishermen come along?
Yes—ride-alongs are accepted with prior approval for $150 per person, up to two per trip.
What paperwork or licenses do I need?
Anglers must have a State of Alaska fishing license (a Salmon Stamp may also be required); a visible copy must be available to the captain, either on your phone or printed.
Are there extra charges I should expect?
