Putney Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) encompasses a largely forested region on and around Putney Mountain in Windham County, Vermont. The area is managed by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department to conserve habitat for native wildlife species and to provide public access for outdoor recreation. Geographically, the WMA includes a mix of hardwood and softwood forests, steep slopes of the mountain, and several small streams. Elevations range roughly from 700 to 1,642 feet at the mountain's summit, offering scenic viewpoints.
