Noisy drunk people who are loud all night long with no regard for other campers. Site are not cleaned between stays, so bring a rake so you can pick up trash/bottle caps/wrappers from the previous camper. Shower drains were clogged and disgusting with standing water. Boat motors on the lake start very early in the morning (don't these people sleep after staying up all night?), so don't expect to get any sleepy time past 6:30 or 7:00AM. Go elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED

A great quiet campground in a beautiful rural/woodland setting, surrounded by a large recreational reservoir. Sandy beach, nature center, public boat launch, campsites of all sizes.

Campground and facilities are nice enough. Good access to the reservoir. Staff are pleasant. But if you are looking to have a quiet night camping, this ain't it. The campground seems to attract large groups of folks interested in partying and not following the rules regarding noise/quiet hours and food storage. Since there are black bears active in the area (we saw two), following the food storage rules is very important. There is not much privacy between the sites so you are at the mercy of whoever you happen to be next to. Unfortunately there were a number of groups who didn't care that their actions were spoiling the experience for everyone else.
