Beautiful park. Lots of trails. Not very crowded. Very close to city. Lots of parking. Needs entrance fee. The water levels in the falls can vary depending on the season.

Always a nice place to play and hike. People were out in the water in February because we have random warm days here.

I’m sure a winter visit isn’t the most ideal time of the year to visit this state park, but it’s still worth the stop as it is a stones throw away from the city center of Austin. Seems like there are some great trails, swimming in the summer and supposed waterfalls. But the waterfalls were super underwhelming!
